Sunday Jan 8 – 1:00 PM Milk-Carton-Special Ride

We left the school with 22 souls Saturday but only 4 remained at the return 25 miles later – 18 riders abducted by aliens? lost in space? only to be seen again on the backs of milk cartons?  it’s a mystery.

Sunday Jan 8 – 1:00 PM, a bit colder than Saturday but any ride in January is good one.

Hi what is the route for this ride?

thank you, I have someone new to the area who is interested.

The route is a game time decision that will change along the way, but likely generally to the NW for 20-25 miles on a mixture of pavement and dirt roads, so a knobby tire bike is appropriate. Two guys did a similar ride yesterday on road bikes which is OK if you can handle a bike on dirt don’t mind a dirty bike. Speed rolling will generally be 15-17 mph, which is a modest pace, but we always endeavor to not drop anyone intentionally. New riders are welcome and should make themselves known at the start so we can keep an eye on them. The regulars know the loops – there are too many turns to describe.
